WATERFORD - If things had been going better for Woody Pitkat's NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour team he would have probably been in Canada this weekend preparing for Sunday's Delaware 150 at Delaware Speedway in Ontario.
But like many teams in the division, Pitkat's Modified Tour team owner, Don King, made the decision not to go Canada.
Pitkat, of Stafford, made the most of the weekend anyhow.
Friday Pitkat scored his first SK Modified victory of the season at Stafford Motor Speedway. Saturday he put the exclamation point on the weekend, winning the 150-lap Budweiser SK Modified Nationals event at the Waterford Speedbowl.
