Keith Rocco Sees NASCAR Whelen All-American Series National Championship Hopes Spin Away At Stafford

STAFFORD - On most nights at Stafford Motor Speedway for most SK Modified drivers, a third place finish would be cause for celebration.

For Keith Rocco, that finish Friday prove the end of a quest to win consecutive NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national championships.
Rocco saw his chances for a national championship go spinning out of his hands when he was tapped from behind by Todd Owen on lap 24 of the 40-lap SK Modified feature.
Rocco needed to win Friday at Stafford and Saturday at the Waterford Speedbowl to have any chance of overtaking national points leader Philip Morris of Ruckersville, Va.
