With a forecast calling for thunder storms in the area this evening, Thompson International Speedway officials made the decision early this afternoon to call off tonight's NASCAR Whelen All-American Series event at the track.
Tonight's event had been scheduled at the final Thursday night weekly event of the season.
The next event currently on the Thompson Speedway schedule is the season ending World Series of Speedway Racing scheduled for Oct. 14-16.
