WATERFORD - Tyler Chadwick used the outside lane at the Waterford Speedbowl for his best offensive moves of the night and then used some crafty defense of the top side to carry himself to victory lane.
Chadwick drove a charging Kyle James up the track in turn two on the final lap to secure victory in the 35-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified feature Saturday at the Waterford Speedbowl.
It was the second victory of the season for Chadwick, of Ledyard, who wasn't worried about James' anger of his final lap defense.
"I did what I had to do, it might not have been the cleanest," Chadwick said.
