With rain in the forecast through the afternoon and for most of the evening, Stafford Motor Speedway officials made the early call to cancel tonight's NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Summer Blastoff racing card at the half-mile oval.
Stafford is back in action next week with the running of the inaugural Lincoln Tech 80 for the Valenti Modified Racing Series at the track.
It marks the first of two visits to Stafford this year for the Valenti Modified Racing Series.
