Rain Puts The Brakes On Valenti Modified Racing Series Event After 32 Laps At Stafford; Race To Resume July 29

STAFFORD - The Lincoln Tech 80 Valenti Modified Racing Series event at Stafford Motor Speedway was stopped after 32 laps because of rain Friday.

The race will resume on Friday July 29.
Stafford Motor Speedway SK Modified and Late Model division regular Keith Rocco, a part-timer on the Valenti Modified Racing Series, was leading the event when the rain arrived.
Track crews made an attempt to dry the track, but with more rain moving in, the decision was made to stop the race.
