Crowning Achievement: Jeff Pearl Wins Waterford's Second SK Modified Race Saturday, Then The Sniping Begins

WATERFORD - Saturday night at the Waterford Speedbowl saw two of the track's young stars trading barbs after a nasty wreck in the first SK Modified feature of the night.

In the second race it was a pair of Speedbowl veterans, Jeff Pearl and Rob Janovic Jr., showing they can throw down as well as the young guns when it comes to talking the talk,
Pearl held off Tom Abele Jr. to win the second 35-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified feature Saturday at Waterford.
It was the second win of the season for Pearl, of Salem, and the 36th of his career at the Speedbowl, good for second all-time at the track.
