The question many have asked over the past few years in the circles of Northeast Modified racing is why Keith Rocco isn't on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour full-time.
It's a question that no longer needs to be answered.
Rocco, of Wallingford, finalized a deal Friday to drive for car owner Mike Boehler in the famed Ol' Blue No. 3 on the Whelen Modified Tour in 2012.
Rocco, the 2010 Whelen All-American Series national champion, replaces Matt Hirschman with the Boehler team.
