As it stands today, the 2010 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion will not be in a ride in the division in 2012.
Bobby Santos III, who won the championship in his first full season in the division in 2010 driving for Mystic car owner Bob Garbarino, said Tuesday evening that as of now he doesn't have a ride in the series this year. Santos also raced for Garbarino in 2011.
"I talked to Bob probably a week ago now and it sounds like he's kind of up in the air on what he wants to do," Santos said. "I don't think he's made any decisions yet.
