Sprint Cup Series driver and Middletown native Joey Logano will be appearing Saturday at On Track Karting in Wallingford as part of a fund raiser for the Silver City Quarter Midget Club of Meriden.
The 21-year old Logano, who is readying for his fourth full-time series in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for Joe Gibbs Racing, got his start in competitive racing competing with the club.
Special events will take place at the On Track Karting facility from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The festivities Sunday will include an autograph signing period with Logano, a celebrity race and a silent auction.
