As usual, Woody Pitkat will be a busy racer in 2012, and that business will include a return to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
Pitkat, of Stafford, has finalized a deal to compete on the Whelen Modified Tour this season for car owner John Lukosavage.
"At this point it's nice to have anything, even if it's five races," Pitkat said. "You're talking about the guy that won the Tour championship two years ago [Bobby Santos III] doesn't even know if he has a ride this year. For me to even have this car for five races I would be ecstatic."
