On Oct. 2 at Stafford Motor Speedway Brian Ross served for the first time as a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour crew chief during the CarQuest Fall Final 150.
In his next event as a crew chief the 18-year old from Southington celebrated in victory lane.
When Glen Reen pulled into victory lane Sunday at Thompson International Speedway following the Whelen Modified Tour season ending World Series of Speedway Racing 150, it proved to be one of the most stunning upsets in recent history in the division.
