Chris Pasteryak Wins Second Valenti Modified Racing Series Championship; Rowan Pennink Wins Season Finale

Chris Pasteryak used a ninth place finish in Sunday's Oktoberfest 100 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H. to capture his second Valenti Modified Racing Series championship.

Pasteryak, of Lisbon, came into the event holding a 28-point lead over Les Hinckely III of Windsor Locks and finished the season 14 points of Hinckley to win the title.
Hinckley finished second to Rowan Pennink of Huntingdon Valley, Pa. in Sunday's Valenti Modified Racing Series season finale.
Pasteryak also won the Valenti Modified Racing Series title in 2008. He finished the 2011 season with three victories and nine top-five finishes and never finished outside the top-10 in 15 races.
