Late Race Wreck Gives Todd Ceravolo An SK Modified Victory At Thompson International Speedway

THOMPSON - Over the years late race bad luck has stolen more than a few victories away from Todd Ceravolo, so the Gales Ferry driver wasn't feeling any guilt at all after pulling into victory lane at Thompson International Speedway Saturday.

After the top two cars of Woody Pitkat and Ted Christopher were wiped out in a wreck caused by backmarkers in the field with less than two laps remaining, Ceravolo inherited the lead and drove to victory in the 25-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified feature Saturday at Thompson.
"It's unfortunate because Ted had a real good car and so did Woody and I inherited the win," Ceravolo said. "So, they don't give them back to me when I lose them like that, so I'll take it. We had a good car, just not the best car."
