WATERFORD - The rivalry on the Valenti Modified Racing Series between Chris Pasteryak and Doug Coby is a friendly and respectful one.
But Coby may have inadvertently added some fuel to help stoke the fires of Chris Pasteryak with a post he made on his personal blog on Friday.
Pasteryak, of Lisbon, passed Coby coming out of turn two on lap 85 and held on the rest of the way to win the Valenti Modified Racing Series Budweiser Blastoff 100 Sunday at the Waterford Speedbowl.
And for Pasteryak, there came some extra satisfaction from making the move to beat Coby, of Milford.
