For the first time in two decades, there will be no NASCAR events at Lime Rock Park in Salisbury in 2012.
Lime Rock Park officials announced their 2012 schedule on Thursday and gone from the track's lineup of events was the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
The Whelen Modified Tour made its debut at Lime Rock in 2010, with Dale Quarterley winning the first event at the track.
