Keith Rocco may not have won the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national championship this year, but that fact hardly takes away from the impressiveness of the numbers he continues to amass behind the wheel of an SK Modified.
Rocco, of Wallingford, added another milestone victory to the many he's racked up over the last five years with his win in the 35-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified feature Saturday at the Waterford Speedbowl.
Rocco's victory Saturday was his 11th of the season in the SK Modified division at the shoreline oval, breaking his own record for wins in a season in the division. He set the previous mark of 10 wins in a season in 2010.
