WATERFORD - Over the last four seasons at the Waterford Speedbowl, Al Stone III has established himself as the most dominant force in the Street Stock division.
Saturday, a milestone victory proved that dominance even more.
Stone, of New Haven, drove away from the field to win the 25-lap Street Stock feature at Waterford.
It was his fourth victory of the season, but more notably, the 27th of his career at the track, making him the division's all-time winningest driver. Stone had been tied at 26 victories with Ed Gertsch Jr.
